Islamabad (Daily Pakistan Online) Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered that the scholars and worshipers arrested for praying in violation of lockdown be released.

The Prime Minister's Assistant Special Information Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said in a statement that it was decided to keep the mosques open and that prayers would be allowed with precautionary measures in the mosques.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office states that the policy regarding the lockdown of Prime Minister Imran Khan is based on ground facts.

Appeal filed against non-availability of protective kits

On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the more people displaying discipline, the easier it will be for us to stop the Corona virus and we will be able to ease the step-down lockdown.

It may be recalled that more than 8400 certified cases of corona virus have been reported in Pakistan while 176 deaths have been reported.
