The number of corona virus cases in Pakistan has increased to 10,811
ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): The number of people infected with the corona virus has crossed 10,000 while the death toll has risen to 228 across the country.
According to data released by the National Command and Control Center, 124,549 patients were tested across the country, while 6,700 tests were performed on Corona in the last 24 hours.  In one day, 298 new cases have been reported, bringing the number of confirmed cases of the virus in Pakistan to 10,811.  In Pakistan, 2337 patients recovered from corona virus.
The highest number of 4590 cases of Corona virus has been reported in Punjab, 3671 in Sindh, 1453 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 552 in Balochistan, 290 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 204 in Islamabad and 51 in Azad Kashmir.

According to the National Command and Control Center, Corona killed four more people across the country, bringing the death toll to 228.  The death toll from Corona virus is 83 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 73 in Sindh, 58 in Punjab, 8 in Balochistan and 3.3 in Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Precautions and rules for Ramadan continue
The government has issued guidelines for precautionary measures in various areas, including worship, to avoid corona during Ramadan.  Under which people and children over the age of 50 will not be allowed in mosques, those who visit mosques during Ramadan should perform ablutions from home, and keep a distance of six feet between rows for congregational prayers and Taraweeh.  There should be no Sahar and Iftar gatherings, the carpet or mat should be picked up and the floor should be washed regularly with chlorinated water.  Those who wish for I'tikaaf will sit at home.
